On December 12, a social media user, identified as A, posted a video claiming to show direct message (DM) exchanges with Lee Yi-kyung, stating, “If anyone still thinks this is AI, raise your hand. This is the real deal, and it’s the last time I’ll post about it. The other chat logs must also be genuine. I’m embarrassed, but I have no choice.”
The video appears to show a conversation between Lee Yi-kyung and A dating back to January 26, 2024. In the DMs, A allegedly sent a message saying, “You are my ideal type. Are foreigners okay?” Lee Yi-kyung reportedly responded, “You speak Korean very well. Which country are you in?” Following this, A sent a voice message and a selfie at Lee Yi-kyung’s request. Upon seeing the selfie with revealing areas, Lee Yi-kyung reportedly commented, “You covered it with flowers.”
According to the video, their conversation escalated further, with Lee Yi-kyung allegedly asking, “It’s amazing the chat has turned to the chest,” followed by questions about body measurements and references to E-cup sizing, including remarks like, “I’ve never seen one before,” and exchanging KakaoTalk IDs.
In response to these posts, Lee Yi-kyung has faced renewed personal rumors. A initially claimed the original allegations were AI-generated and apologized, then later reversed their statement while continuing to assert grievances. Lee Yi-kyung’s agency has filed defamation complaints related to the spread of false information and is awaiting investigation results.
Lee Yi-kyung stated, “For those curious about the outcome, the suspect will soon be identified once a warrant is issued. Even if they are in Germany, I will personally go there to submit the complaint. There will be no leniency for malicious commenters.”
