Leeseo, the youngest member of K-pop girl group IVE, will not be taking the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), commonly known as the Korean college entrance exam. According to a report by Herald POP on November 5, Leeseo has officially decided to forgo the exam in order to fully concentrate on her professional career.
After extensive discussions with her agency Starship Entertainment, Leeseo expressed her desire to remain focused on her current music and performance activities. The company respected her decision, noting that her academic path can be reconsidered later depending on her future intentions and schedule.

Other IVE members, including Jang Wonyoung and Liz, also previously chose to skip the CSAT to prioritize their careers. This decision reflects a growing trend among young idols who are choosing to build their professional portfolios before considering traditional education routes.
Leeseo made her debut with IVE in 2021 and has since contributed to a string of major hits, including ELEVEN, LOVE DIVE, and After LIKE. The group has quickly risen to become one of the leading acts in fourth-generation K-pop.

Most recently, IVE successfully completed the Seoul leg of their “Show What I Am” world tour with three nights at the KSPO DOME from October 31 to November 2.
As Leeseo forgoes the traditional academic path for now, fans continue to support her decision, applauding her dedication and professionalism at such a young age.
