Former JYP Entertainment artist Baek Yerin is facing intense criticism in South Korea for her bold fashion choice at the recent 2025 Flash and Core concert. Once known for her pure and powerful vocals, Baek Yerin is now being harshly scrutinized online for her revealing attire.

During her performance of “Another Season With You,” Baek Yerin wore a sheer, light blue dress that accentuated her slender figure and showcased her unique tattoos. However, the dress particularly the lower half was so translucent and high-slit that it exposed her skin-tone underwear under the stage lighting. While the top part of the dress was lined, the bottom left little to the imagination, especially under the spotlight.

Clips of the performance quickly spread across social media, sparking heated debate. Many Korean netizens criticized her for wearing an outfit they deemed overly provocative. “It’s ridiculous,” one viewer wrote, “Why does she have to dress like that?” Another said, “My son and I went to her concert for the music, and we’re not going again.”

In another segment of the show, Baek Yerin wore a similarly risqué white lace dress with a plunging neckline, and throughout the night, she also donned outfits like a corset paired with tight-fitting pants, further fueling controversy.

Online comments ranged from disapproval of her tattoos to concerns over appropriateness: “Her outfit and tattoos are absurd,” one comment read. Others questioned whether near-nudity was becoming a new trend in stage performances.

Born in 1997, Baek Yerin debuted as part of the JYP duo 15& in 2012 with the single “I Dream.” After the group disbanded, she found success as a solo artist, known for her ethereal voice and emotional depth.
