The long-awaited collaboration between Suzy and Lee Do-hyun has finally been confirmed. The two popular actors will appear together in the music video for Urban Zakapa’s new title track “STAY“, the lead single of their upcoming EP set to be released on November 3.
According to an exclusive report by The Fact on October 20, Suzy and Lee Do-hyun have completed filming as the male and female leads of the music video. Their participation adds star power to Urban Zakapa’s first album release in four years, following their 2021 single “This Star.”
Urban Zakapa composed of Jo Hyun-ah, Kwon Soon-il, and Park Yong-in has continued steady activities through solo projects, concerts, and broadcast appearances. However, “STAY” represents their long-awaited return as a group, blending pop, R&B, ballad, and modern rock elements into a cohesive and emotional sound.
“STAY” is expected to deliver Urban Zakapa’s signature harmonies with a fresh narrative approach. The EP will explore diverse musical genres while maintaining the group’s unique emotional storytelling that fans have loved since their debut.
Suzy’s involvement in the project holds special significance. She has been close friends with member Jo Hyun-ah for over 14 years, a friendship that has often been spotlighted in the industry. Suzy previously appeared on Jo Hyun-ah’s music talk show “Jo Hyun-ah’s Thursday Night” in 2023, where their playful chemistry became a trending topic.
Currently, Suzy is preparing for multiple projects, including the upcoming Netflix series “All Shall Come True” and the film “7 O’Clock Breakfast for the Brokenhearted,” in which she stars alongside Lee Jin-wook.
Meanwhile, Lee Do-hyun continues to solidify his reputation as one of Korea’s most sought-after actors following his acclaimed performances in “Sweet Home,” “Youth of May,” “The Glory,” and “The Good Bad Mother.” After completing his military service, Lee recently met fans through an Asia tour and is now set to star in the Hong Sisters’ new Netflix series “Grand Galaxy Hotel.”
Urban Zakapa’s new EP “STAY” will be released on November 3, with the group also launching a nationwide concert tour titled “Winter” beginning November 22. Fans are eagerly anticipating the synergy between Urban Zakapa’s emotional sound and the compelling visuals led by Suzy and Lee Do-hyun.
