Actress Park Ye-ni made her first public appearance in 2017 through I Can See Your Voice 4, where her exceptional singing talent and musical-style stage left a deep impression. Her unique voice later shone on Love at First Song, gaining her even more fans.

Park further showcased her versatility in Hospital Playlist, portraying an English interpreter mediating between a young Dubai prince and a nurse. She also gained attention for her witty and realistic portrayal of a married couple in a commercial alongside actor Kim Nam-hee.
But behind her growing success, Park Ye-ni faced an unusual dilemma — whether to hide her prestigious Harvard University background.
Park attended an international high school in Korea and pursued the U.S. SATs and college admissions during her teen years. She enrolled at New York University, where she initially studied a different major. However, her childhood dream of becoming an actress led her to bravely switch majors to acting.

She graduated a year early from NYU’s acting program and even worked as a nanny in the U.S. while auditioning and acting in independent films. Realizing she needed more training, she applied to and was accepted into Harvard University’s A.R.T. (American Repertory Theater) graduate program, where she earned her master’s degree in acting.
While an impressive resume by any standard, Park confessed that her elite education initially brought more anxiety than confidence. During early auditions, she was asked more about her academic background than her acting ability. She feared that industry figures would judge her solely based on her degrees rather than her talent, and even considered removing her education from her profile.
“People naturally form biases based on appearance, voice, or the way someone dresses — and I think that’s normal,” Park said in an interview with Herald POP. “But over time, I believe those biases can break once people get to know you. I’ve learned to worry less about it now.”
Since then, Park Ye-ni has built a dynamic career. She first gained attention for her role as the Dubai prince’s translator in Hospital Playlist, then appeared in a string of notable dramas such as Missing: The Other Side, You Are My Spring, and Snowdrop.

In 2025, she made a special appearance in the S Line original as Hee-won, the neighbor of Hyun-heup (played by Arin), and also lent her vocals to the OST track “Innocent (Between the Lines),” showcasing her exceptional singing once again.
Born in 1993, Park continues to shine with her irreplaceable presence. Most recently, she touched hearts in A Hundred Memories, playing the role of working mom Choi Jeong-bun. Her nuanced performance ranged from comedic charm to emotional depth in a love triangle storyline, solidifying her status as one of Korea’s most compelling rising actresses.
