On October 21, Lee Na-eun attended the press conference for the upcoming short-form drama My Little Chef at Starfield Goyang’s Central Atrium in Gyeonggi Province, alongside director Kim Sang-hoon and cast members Choi Bo-min, Yoon Hyun-seok, and Kim Do-ah.

During the event, Lee Na-eun expressed her gratitude and excitement about participating in the project, stating, “Filming wrapped up not long ago, and it feels great to see the cast and director again. Since we’re all around the same age, filming was really fun. I’m happy and proud.”

Speaking about her character, she said, “Noma is a bright and positive person. I tried to focus on portraying her human side. Since this is my first time working on a short-form drama, I took on the challenge with extra responsibility, especially when expressing various emotions within a short time frame.”

What made the event especially significant was that it marked Lee’s return to an official setting for the first time since her last drama Extraordinary You aired in 2019. In 2021, she was accused of bullying former APRIL member Lee Hyun-joo, which led to her being removed from SBS’s Taxi Driver, halting her career, and the eventual disbandment of APRIL.

Since then, she made cameo appearances in SBS’s Flex X Cop and ENA’s Crash, gradually returning to the entertainment industry. Her official comeback came in July 2025 through ENA’s The Defects.

Reflecting on her return, Lee shared, “It’s been so long since I had the opportunity to communicate with fans and reporters at a public event. I was nervous but also incredibly excited. It’s my first press conference in six years, and I’m grateful for this chance to show a new side of myself.”

My Little Chef is set to premiere in December.
