Actor Lee Yi Kyung (36) is at the center of intensifying controversy surrounding explicit personal allegations. While his agency has declared legal action, the accuser referred to as “A” continues to escalate claims, stating they are actively gathering evidence and have faced threats.
On October 21, A took to X (formerly Twitter), writing, “There were so many things I couldn’t capture in screenshots with Lee Yi Kyung.” They had previously launched a blog and shared what they claim are chat screenshots between themselves and the actor, asserting that despite changing phones and losing many messages, some incriminating content remains.
The alleged messages include disturbing language attributed to a user under Lee Yi Kyung’s name, featuring sexually explicit and degrading comments. The leak quickly triggered public backlash, further fueled by A’s insistence that they are exposing the actor’s “real self.”
As the controversy gained traction, Lee Yi Kyung’s agency, Sangyoung ENT, issued a firm denial. They stated that A had previously sent threatening emails demanding money around five months ago. “We are currently preparing legal action in response to the defamation, false claims, and malicious rumors,” the agency announced. They also emphasized that all content spread by A is false and that they plan to calculate damages and pursue both civil and criminal action accordingly.
In a counterclaim, A alleged they had been intimidated by the company into previously recanting their claims. “Yes, I did tell them it was false before because I was threatened with a report if I didn’t,” they said. “I want to make it clear once again, this is not about money,” A added, asking the public to “wait a little longer” as they continue collecting proof.
Meanwhile, A has deleted their earlier blog posts related to the allegations. A video that reportedly showed access to Lee Yi Kyung’s social media account was also uploaded but has been removed.
The unfolding saga has left fans and the public divided, with many waiting to see what evidence, if any, A will bring forward and how Lee Yi Kyung and his agency will respond as legal proceedings potentially begin.
