The 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards has unveiled its full list of nominees, and this year’s Best Actress race is stirring up excitement. Korean cinema powerhouses Son Ye-jin, Song Hye-kyo, and Im Yoona are among the front-runners for one of the industry’s most coveted accolades.
According to the announcement made on October 21, Park Chan-wook’s film No Other Choice led the pack with nominations in 12 categories, making it the most nominated work this year and a strong contender for Best Picture.



The Best Picture category features five standout titles: No Other Choice, The Ugly, My Daughter Is a Zombie, The Old Woman With the Knife, and Harbin. These films were selected based on their artistic value and public reception, showcasing the dynamic range of Korean cinema in 2025.
No Other Choice, which seamlessly blends critical acclaim and audience appeal, is expected to sweep multiple categories. Following closely, The Ugly received 10 nominations, while Harbin secured 8. My Daughter Is a Zombie and Hi-Five both earned six nods, indicating a well-balanced mix of genres and themes across the nominations.
In the highly anticipated Best Actress category, the nominees include:

The Blue Dragon Film Awards also emphasized fresh talent with the Best New Director and Best New Actor/Actress categories, celebrating bold debuts and unique storytelling.
