Japanese actress Tomoko Takahashi has tragically passed away at the age of 39 following a hit-and-run accident caused by a drowsy driver in Tokyo.

On October 18 (local time), her agency One Production announced, “Our actress Tomoko Takahashi suddenly passed away in a traffic accident in the early hours of October 16, 2025. It is so sudden that we still can’t believe it. We are deeply heartbroken.”

The agency continued, “Takahashi was one of the founding members of our company and always worked with great passion. She was responsible, kind-hearted, and deeply loved by many. We sincerely thank her for all the achievements she left behind.”
