The upcoming Disney+ original series The Manipulated is generating massive buzz for its explosive cast lineup and action-packed storytelling. Starring Ji Chang Wook, D.O. (Do Kyung Soo), Kim Jong Soo, Jo Yoon Soo, and Lee Kwang Soo, the series just unveiled its main poster and trailer, heightening anticipation among K-drama fans.

The series follows Tae Jung (Ji Chang Wook), an ordinary man whose life spirals into chaos when he’s falsely accused of a brutal crime and thrown in prison. He soon discovers that everything was orchestrated by Yohan (D.O.), setting him on a path of ruthless revenge.
Penned by Oh Sang Ho, the acclaimed writer behind Taxi Driver and The Roundup: Punishment, and directed by Park Shin Woo (The Killing Vote) and Kim Chang Joo (Hard Hit), The Manipulated promises an intense narrative blending mystery, vengeance, and high-octane action.

The main poster captures the fierce tension between the two leads — Tae Jung’s vengeful glare under the tagline “I’ll end the game you started,” and Yohan’s chilling stare that hints at his manipulative power. Supporting characters, including Yong Shik (Kim Jong Soo), Eun Bi (Jo Yoon Soo), and Do Kyung (Lee Kwang Soo), also stand out, teasing intricate storylines and layered dynamics.
The trailer opens with Tae Jung’s grueling time in prison after being framed, followed by scenes of his relentless training for revenge. Meanwhile, Yohan offers his clients a sinister deal: “I can make it as if it never happened.” Through CCTV footage, he studies Tae Jung’s every move, setting the stage for a deadly game of psychological warfare.

As Tae Jung learns the truth “I was the one who was broken apart” he escapes from prison, vowing to destroy Yohan: “No matter what, I’ll kill you.” The trailer teases intense hand-to-hand combat, motorcycle chases, and high-speed car sequences, promising cinematic action rarely seen in Korean dramas.
With powerhouse actors and a gritty revenge-driven plot, The Manipulated is shaping up to be one of Disney+’s biggest Korean releases of the year. Fans have already flooded the teaser comments with excitement: “This cast is insane!”, “The visuals are next level,” and “This is my most anticipated drama of the year.”
The first four episodes of The Manipulated premiere on Disney+ on November 5, with two new episodes released weekly for a total of 12 episodes.
