A new romantic comedy with an unconventional premise is already stirring excitement in the K-drama world. Titled Positively Yours, the upcoming series has confirmed its powerful lead lineup: Choi Jin Hyuk, Oh Yeon Seo, Hong Jong Hyun, and Kim Dasom. Slated for release in the first half of 2026, the drama has been dubbed a “reverse rom-com” for its unique concept of “pregnancy before love.”
Based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name, the story follows two people who swear off marriage but end up entangled in a whirlwind romance after a one-night stand leads to an unexpected pregnancy.
Choi Jin Hyuk plays Kang Doo Joon, a flawless chaebol heir who values responsibility over love, finding himself caught in an unpredictable journey after an impulsive night changes everything. Known for his commanding screen presence across genres, Choi is expected to deliver a performance that could redefine his rom-com career.
Oh Yeon Seo stars as Jang Hee Won, a career-driven perfectionist who excels at work but fails at love. A firm believer in staying single, her life takes a dramatic turn when she becomes pregnant after a one-night encounter with Doo Joon. Her transformation from a disciplined professional to someone facing emotional chaos will drive the series’ heartwarming yet humorous tone.
Hong Jong Hyun joins as Cha Min Wook, Hee Won’s kind-hearted best friend of 20 years, whose feelings blur the line between friendship and love. Meanwhile, Kim Dasom takes on the role of Hwang Mi Ran, Hee Won’s closest confidante and drinking buddy, whose presence adds a touch of tension and comic relief to the trio’s dynamic.
