Actors Jeon So-min and comedian Yang Se-hyung are set to appear as special guests on SBS’s variety show Running Man, filling the gap left by Ji Ye-eun, who recently halted activities due to health reasons.
According to a MyDaily exclusive report on October 11, Jeon So-min and Yang Se-hyung recently completed filming for the show. Their episode is scheduled to air on October 19.

This marks Jeon So-min’s first Running Man appearance in about a year. From 2017 to 2023, she served as a beloved cast member known for her cheerful and charming personality. After stepping down in November 2023 to focus on her acting career, she briefly returned as a guest in December 2024, and now makes another appearance — to the delight of fans who have missed her presence on the show.
Her return has sparked excitement among viewers who fondly remember her natural chemistry with the cast and her comedic timing that often brought extra energy to the show.

Meanwhile, Yang Se-hyung is making his Running Man debut. Known for his quick wit and lively humor on various shows like Knowing Bros and Master in the House, his appearance is especially noteworthy because his younger brother Yang Se-chan is a long-time cast member of Running Man.
This marks the first time the Yang brothers will appear together on the same episode, heightening expectations for their unique sibling chemistry and comedic synergy.
The episode was filmed during the absence of Ji Ye-eun, who recently announced a temporary suspension of activities for health recovery. Starting with the October 12 broadcast, she will not be appearing on Running Man as she focuses on her well-being. Fans have expressed their support and wishes for her speedy recovery.
With Jeon So-min’s return, Yang Se-hyung’s debut, and the remaining cast’s solid teamwork, viewers can look forward to a special Running Man episode filled with laughter, nostalgia, and sibling banter.
