The hit tvN weekend drama Bon Appétit, Your Majesty closed its run on a high note, recording a peak rating of 20%, the highest in its broadcast history. Yet, the fever surrounding the series shows no sign of cooling down.
Blending time-slip fantasy, romantic comedy, and Korean traditional cuisine, the series starred YoonA and Lee Chae-min, whose on-screen chemistry became one of the show’s highlights. Its mix of romance and fusion food not only captured domestic audiences but also attracted a strong global following.
On Netflix, Bon Appétit, Your Majesty topped the Global Non-English TV Show chart for two consecutive weeks and remained in the TOP10 for six straight weeks. It also maintained a consistent spot in the global TOP5, underscoring its international popularity.

International media outlets also praised the drama. Variety called its back-to-back weekly wins “a milestone achievement,” while Time Magazine hailed it as one of the biggest Korean hits of the fall season, describing it as “a flavorful journey.”
Domestically, the drama enjoyed soaring viewership and buzz. It ranked No.1 in TV-OTT buzz for six consecutive weeks, according to Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex, and was voted the most-loved TV program in September 2025 by Gallup Korea.
To ease fans’ bittersweet feelings after the finale, special events are planned. On October 4 at 9:10 PM, tvN will air a special broadcast titled “The Tyrant’s Chef: No Exit from the Palace,” featuring cast members YoonA, Lee Chae-min, Kang Han-na, Oh Eui-sik, and Lee Joo-an. The episode will include cast updates, answers to fan questions, and live reactions as they re-watch the finale together.
Beyond TV, the series will also expand into fan experiences. Pop-up stores are scheduled in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, while a script book featuring iconic lines and a photo essay with behind-the-scenes stills will soon be available for pre-order.
The production team expressed gratitude: “We are deeply thankful to the viewers who loved our work. To return that love, we’ve prepared the special broadcast and fan events, so please continue supporting us until the very end.”
