Thieves who stole actress Jeon Hye Bin’s credit card have been arrested by authorities. On the 8th December, Jeon Hye Bin shared related news reports on her social media, writing, “I heard that the credit card thieves from Bali have been caught.”

Upon hearing the update, she stated, “I express my respect and gratitude to the Bali police officers who worked hard on this case, and I have grown even more fond of beautiful Bali, Indonesia.”

According to recent local media reports, police in Bali, Indonesia, announced that they had arrested an international theft ring consisting of 10 members of Indonesian, Chinese, and Mongolian nationality. The accomplices involved in the incident allegedly used the stolen credit cards to transfer money to overseas accounts.

The Indonesian members were responsible for supplying EDC devices used to process non-cash transactions, while the Chinese members recruited individuals for the crime group. The Mongolian suspect carried out the physical theft of bags and credit cards from victims. A total of five foreigners, including Korean and Chinese nationals, were reported to have suffered damages from the group.

Local police collaborated across regions, investigated the crime scenes based on the victims’ reports, and collected evidence such as CCTV footage ultimately succeeding in arresting the perpetrators.

On October 1, Jeon Hye Bin posted a screenshot of a map of Ubud, Bali on her social media, warning fans: “My card was stolen in this area and ₩15 million was charged. Please be careful, everyone staying in Ubud and those planning to visit soon.” She emphasized how quickly it happened, saying: “It all happened within just 10 minutes after I lost my card.”

Just a day earlier, on September 30, the actress had happily shared updates from her family trip, celebrating her son’s birthday and marking her third year as a mother. “We got married here in Ubud, and now we’ve returned as three. Today is my child’s third birthday and also my third anniversary of becoming a mom,” she wrote with emotion.

Unfortunately, what was meant to be a joyful occasion turned stressful due to the unexpected theft. Fans expressed sympathy and support, leaving comments such as “That must be so upsetting,” “I hope the issue gets resolved quickly,” and “A reminder to stay cautious when traveling.”

On October 3, Jeon Hye Bin updated fans via Instagram, writing, “I received so many concerned messages. Thanks to the kind and fair Balinese police officers, we completed the investigation safely and arrived at our next destination last night.”

She continued, “I felt deeply sorry that this incident became big news locally, possibly hurting the beautiful image of this place. Still, what we’ve gained here is far greater than what we’ve lost, and I believe it will remain a special memory for our child. Thank you to everyone who worried about us.”

Jeon Hye Bin married a dentist two years her senior in 2019, and the couple has one son together.
