BTS Jimin has once again shown his generosity by donating 100 million KRW (around $75,000 USD) in scholarships to support students in the Jeonbuk region. This contribution was personally coordinated by Jimin’s father, who contacted the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education to express his intention to give.

On September 25, the Jeonbuk Office of Education announced, “In July, Jimin’s father called the office to convey his donation intention, and recently, 100 million KRW was donated to the Love Scholarship Foundation.” The funds will assist students facing challenging circumstances in continuing their education.

Since 2019, starting with the Busan Office of Education, Jimin has annually chosen one education office to support with scholarships. Jeonbuk is the sixth region to receive such aid. These charitable acts are carried out quietly without public ceremonies, reflecting Jimin’s humble approach to giving.

Yoo Jeong-gi, Acting Superintendent of Jeonbuk Office of Education, expressed gratitude, saying, “We deeply appreciate this warm gesture for the future of our children. The donated scholarships will be carefully distributed to the students in need.”

Previously, Jimin supported the replacement of desks and chairs at Busan Arts High School and continued his charitable efforts through local welfare organizations. His quiet philanthropy has inspired a culture of giving among his fanbase, spreading positive influence far beyond the music industry.
