Actress Park Gyu-young recently expressed her admiration for Cha Eun-woo’s looks during her guest appearance on the YouTube channel Narae-sik.
On September 24, the channel uploaded a video titled “So many people drove me crazy during filming | MZ shot, Sweet Home audition, meeting Cha Eun-woo, cleaning routine”. In the episode, Park Gyu-young shared her experiences working alongside some of the most handsome actors in the industry.
Host Park Na-rae asked her, “You’ve worked with many good-looking actors, right?” mentioning names like Lee Jin-wook, Seo Kang-joon, Cha Eun-woo, Lee Jong-suk, and Im Si-wan. When asked who was the most handsome, Park Gyu-young paused before saying, “Every time I see Cha Eun-woo, I think, ‘The most handsome guy in the universe,’ ‘Someone I can never get used to.’”
Park Na-rae added, “There was a time when Cha Eun-woo was only briefly famous after debut. I filmed a web show with him then, and when we had a scene facing each other, I just thought, ‘What is this?’” Park Gyu-young agreed, laughing, “Exactly, it’s just ‘What is this?’”
Their shared reactions highlighted Cha Eun-woo’s unreal, almost otherworldly visuals. The two actors previously played a romantic couple in the 2023 MBC drama A Good Day to Be a Dog.
During the episode, Park Gyu-young also discussed her desire to explore new genres. Known for her intense roles, she said, “I really want to do more melodramas or rom-coms these days. I’ve been covered in too much blood and sweat. Many of my roles involved killing people. Even in the recent drama Queen Mantis, I had to send people off constantly.”
Park Na-rae joked about her intense roles, saying, “You could call it a service to the acting world. You’ve sent off so many people,” bringing laughter to the audience.
