On September 14, one fan shared that after attending Kim Woo Bin‘s fan signing event, they and other fans had planned to eat together using a pooled group fund. When Kim Woo Bin overheard the details, including the restaurant’s name, he quietly arranged to pay the entire bill in advance.
Not only did he cover the cost of the meal, but he also considered ordering wine. However, being mindful of fans’ varying preferences, he decided to leave that portion for them to choose, promising to transfer the money later if needed. He even left his manager’s business card at the restaurant to finalize the arrangement.
Reports noted that Kim Woo Bin went the extra mile by personally visiting the restaurant despite his busy schedule and paying for the most expensive menu option available—going beyond what the fans had initially reserved.
This is far from the first time Kim Woo Bin has been recognized as a “kindness chaebol.” He is well known for his generosity, including making donations and sending gifts to Seoul Asan Medical Center’s children’s ward. Recently, he also sent flowers to the funeral of Song Gil Yong, a father who passed away while searching for his missing daughter for 25 years.
