BABYMONSTER is officially kicking off promotions for their highly anticipated comeback with the release of the first teaser poster for their 2nd mini album WE GO UP, set to drop on October 10.

On September 12, YG Entertainment unveiled the teaser poster through its official blog, raising excitement among global fans. The announcement aligns with executive producer Yang Hyun Suk’s previously revealed lineup of YG’s second-half plans.

The teaser poster features a black-and-white background with static noise effects, contrasted by bold neon green lettering. Shot from a high-angle perspective overlooking a cityscape, the image visually echoes the album’s title, symbolizing BABYMONSTER’s ambition to rise to greater heights.

The album’s title track, also called “WE GO UP”, is described as a high-energy hip-hop song paired with a concept-driven music video. YG hinted that the visuals will amplify the group’s fierce energy, setting the stage for a new era in their music.

Additional tracks revealed by Yang Hyun Suk include:

  • PSYCHO” – a powerful song rivaling the title track’s intensity
  • SUPA DUPA LUV” – a slow-tempo track infused with hip-hop elements
  • WILD” – a dance track with country influences

This genre-spanning lineup promises to showcase BABYMONSTER’s versatility.

This promotion cycle will feature BABYMONSTER as a six-member unit Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rora, and Chiquita while Rami takes a temporary hiatus. YG explained:

“Rami is on a break for health reasons. It was a decision made with the artist’s well-being as the top priority. We ask for fans’ understanding and promise to continue supporting both Rami and BABYMONSTER.”

BABYMONSTER’s upcoming comeback is set to cement their position as one of K-pop’s most dynamic rookie groups.
