Figure skating icon Kim Yuna made a guest appearance on the YouTube variety series Pinggyego, where her candid humor about her wedding once again became a hot topic.
In the preview for the 87th Meeting episode, Yoo Jae-suk introduced Kim Yuna as a “very precious guest.” Humble as always, Kim Yuna responded with a surprising line: “Aren’t I already someone past my prime?” The comment shocked the cast, prompting Yoo Jae-suk to protest, “Don’t you dare say that!” while Ji Seok-jin joked, “If she’s past her prime, I must be nearly dead.”
Yoo Jae-suk then opened up about his long connection with Kim Yuna, saying he had followed her journey since her teenage years. But he slipped in a playful complaint: “I’ve seen you grow up, get married… of course, I wasn’t invited to the wedding.”
Ji Seok-jin asked if he would have gone, and Yoo Jae-suk admitted, “I really should have gone by myself.” Jo Se-ho teased, “If it wasn’t an open invite, you couldn’t have entered anyway.” To which Kim Yuna delivered the knockout line: “That’s true. You wouldn’t have been allowed in.” The room erupted in laughter.
This isn’t the first time the subject has come up. In 2023, Kim Yuna guested on tvN’s You Quiz on the Block , where Yoo Jae-suk also admitted he hadn’t been invited to her wedding with singer Ko Woo-rim in 2022. At the time, Kim Yuna explained, “I didn’t even have your number,” while Yoo Jae-suk quipped, “If you had called, I would have come right away.”
Kim Yuna’s highly anticipated Pinggyego appearance will be released on September 13 at 9 a.m. KST via YouTube.
