On August 22, YouTube channel Zip Daesung released a video titled “Shall we party? Shall we invite our friends? Will you come and play?” capturing the intimate home party thrown by BIGBANG for their 19th debut anniversary.
BIGBANG members spontaneously called their close friends during the party, extending casual invites to actors, singers, and entertainers. The first arrivals included actor Go Kyung-pyo , 2NE1’s CL and singer Vince . While comedian Jo Se-ho answered their call, he couldn’t attend due to prior commitments.
The biggest surprise of the night came when Son Na-eun walked in alongside Hoshi . G-Dragon explained, “I forgot to mention earlier—I called her when my mic was off.” Daesung added with wide eyes, “I never expected Son Na-eun to come!”
Son Na-eun revealed she had just finished attending a film premiere when she got the unexpected call. Hoshi then explained how the carpool happened: “I already knew Na-eun noona and Ji-yong hyung (G-Dragon) were close, so I reached out to her. She told me Ji-yong had just called too. But taxis weren’t coming, so I asked, ‘Noona, should we go together?’ and we ended up arriving here like this.”
Their joint arrival delighted fans, further showcasing the warm friendship shared across idol generations.
Son Na-eun and G-Dragon’s friendship was highlighted when it was revealed that he had gifted her a pair of limited-edition sneakers—proof of their long-standing bond.
As the night wrapped up, BIGBANG reflected on the milestone and teased future plans. Daesung shared: “This party is not only to celebrate our 19th anniversary but also to prepare for our 20th. Ji-yong hyung has led us all these years, and he’ll also draw the vision for next year.”
G-Dragon added, “We’ll keep leading as we always have. There’s a lot to draw, but once we keep going, the picture will be completed.”
Daesung further promised fans: “We’re preparing step by step so that next year will be meaningful for all who love us. We’ll share happy news one by one and create great memories together.”
With their 20th anniversary on the horizon, BIGBANG reassured fans that exciting announcements are on the way.
