On August 11, SBS’s My Little Old Boy released a preview video titled “That really hurt…”, showing Yoon Shi Yoon and his mother on a trip to Mongolia. The clip begins at the airport, where Yoon waits for someone. When his mother arrives, with her long hair and youthful beauty, he greets her with an enthusiastic “Mom!”, drawing surprised reactions from the “Mom Avengers” panel.
In Mongolia, the mother-son duo enjoyed the vast scenery and warm moments together. At one point, Yoon’s mother expressed affection, saying, “Shi Yoon, I love you. My son.”
However, the atmosphere turned emotional as Yoon Shi Yoon cautiously opened up about his early struggles: “I had to start working as soon as I became an adult. Mom, you became a mother too early.”
His mother, visibly moved, admitted, “I became a mother so young that I didn’t even know when you took your first steps. I even told you not to call me ‘mom’ in front of customers.”
Yoon confessed, “As a child, that really hurt me,” prompting his mother to tear up and say, “I’m truly sorry to you. I’ve always been sorry, and I still am.”
Their heartfelt conversation will air on the August 17 episode of My Little Old Boy, promising viewers an intimate and moving look at their relationship.
