According to industry insiders on August 11, BLACKPINK will be releasing a mini-album rather than a digital single. Initially aiming for an October launch, the group adjusted their schedule and is now targeting a November release. The members have already completed their album jacket photoshoot and are expected to finish recording and production within the next two months.

On August 17, YG uploaded a new video on their official YouTube channel, featuring Yang Hyun-suk sharing updates on TREASURE, BABYMONSTER, and BLACKPINK.

Regarding BLACKPINK’s upcoming group activities, YG revealed that they are aiming to release a mini album in November.

Currently in the midst of their world tour “DEADLINE”, BLACKPINK will wrap up their London concert on August 16 before taking a two-month break. The tour will resume on October 18 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. A source revealed, BLACKPINK intends to promote on music shows if possible after the album drops.”
