On July 28, a user on the anonymous workplace community Blind claimed that her ex-boyfriend—described as a male actor—was secretly dating multiple women and tried to cover it up by sending ₩8 million (approx. $6,100 USD) as “consolation money” through his agency.
The author, referred to as A, stated that she received contact from the agency, allegedly offering the money to prevent public backlash as the actor is preparing to appear on a variety show with a new girlfriend to announce their upcoming wedding. According to A, the timeline didn’t add up:
“They said the relationship with the new girlfriend would be shown as having started before we broke up. That’s basically cheating or a rebound relationship.”
The post quickly went viral, triggering a frenzy of speculation online. Many netizens demanded to know the identity of the actor, while others expressed concern over the vague and anonymous nature of the post, noting that no concrete evidence or agency response has yet surfaced.
In a comment, the author clarified:
“He’s not a top star, but if you’re over 30, you’d recognize his name.”
Some netizens began speculating whether it could be Lee Min-woo of Shinhwa, who recently surprised the public with news of his marriage. However, since the poster described the man as an “actor” rather than an idol or singer, others warned against making hasty assumptions—especially since unverified speculation could damage innocent individuals.
