The name “Rapunzel” of the track originates from a princess in an old fairy tale, who is known for her abnormally long and magic hair, and resides in an isolated tower. In the song, Lisa compares herself to Rapunzel regarding her long hair, as well as a lavish lifestyle where one lives without caring about haters. The song also highlights Lisa’s wealth and “girlboss” attitude, which allows her to stay on top, be untouchable, and stay true to herself.
Additionally, whereas Megan raps about making money and staying unbothered by haters, while Lisa emphasizes personal growth and leveling up in the outro.
