On August 30th, Hyeri’s official YouTube channel uploaded a new episode of the web variety show “Hyell’s Club” titled “NMIXX is Really a Famous Comedy Group”. NMIXX members Sullyoon and Bae appeared as guests on the show.
During the broadcast, Bae talked openly about her blonde hair. She shared, “It’s the first time I’m blonde. Normally I was really scared. It was a style that I never tried. So I wondered if the fans would like it. My hair stylist said, ‘Bae, later when you look back on your life, do you want to have the same hair and makeup your entire life?’ That’s right. I realized that then.” Sullyoon also expressed her desire to try bleaching her hair and mentioned that she plans to do so for their next comeback.
When asked “Which performance had the best hair, makeup and outfit for you, Sullyoon?“, Sullyoon replied, “For me… First performance. The debut M Countdown performance. That’s because… We couldn’t sleep, so we didn’t have any puffiness at all.” Bae mentioned that her facial expressions during her debut stage were the same, but she’s now trying to show a different version of herself.
Hyeri burst into laughter and advised, “You need to be shameless if you’re going to do performances.” She then reflected on Girl’s Day’s final stage in 2018, saying, “I thought that might be the last performance, so I called my sister and mom. I must have known it was the last performance. Fans wouldn’t have known.”
Upon hearing this, NMIXX’s Bae broke down in tears, saying, “It’s just so sad that the fans didn’t know it was the last performance.” Sullyoon and Hyeri were taken aback by Bae’s emotions and exchanged glances. Hyeri comforted Bae “Bae still has so many performances ahead, why are you acting like that?“, but Bae continued to cry.
Hyeri said, “Bae’s strong love for NMIXX and her love for NSWER. Are you F? You have a really delicate heart.” She also shared that she cried a lot on stage, empathizing with Bae’s tears, adding, “You cried so beautifully. I cried like a frog.”
Meanwhile, Hyeri became a hot topic last March when she wrote “Interesting” on SNS after rumors of Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee dating surfaced. This led to a whirlwind of rumors about the trio’s complex breakups and relationships, which eventually ended with Hyeri’s apology and the quick breakup of Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee.
