In addition, some also made fun of the lyrics, which include an allegory to Pikachu – a character from the famous Japanese franchise Pokemon.

Below are some comments from netizens:

  • [+590, -23] To avoid any controversy about their singing skills, this group decided to just drop the singing part altogether.
  • [+480, -27] After seeing all the media play about live singing and everything, I was really curious, but this is a song that doesn’t even require any singing skills. I just thought, “Well, they dodged that well.”
  • [+405, -20] Image is really important for celebrities. If this concept had come out when the group wasn’t dealing with scandals, I probably would have just thought, “Oh, the group is changing its style.” But now, it just feels like they’re trying too hard to be quirky. The rap tone is oddly handled, and honestly, Eunchae just doesn’t suit solo rap… When a celebrity’s image crumbles, it’s really tough. It really feels like they’re struggling with the concept and trying too hard.
  • [+377, -24] It was really not that good
  • [+329, -23] What’s with the “Like Pikachu, million-volt electric current”? Stop trying to act like artists.
