ADOR Sexual Harassment Perpetrator Was The Director Who Conspired With Min Hee-jin To Take Over The Label?

According to Sports Today on August 13th, executive A, who was the perpetrator of ADOR’s sexual harassment case, was actually the director who was suspected of attempting to take over the management of ADOR together with CEO Min Hee-jin.

When the sexual harassment in ADOR was revealed, many raised suspicions of CEO Min Hee-jin covering the case. In response, CEO Min denied the allegation, saying “It’s a distorted revelation”.

However, according to B, who claimed to be the victim in the sexual harassment case, HYBE confirmed that A’s behavior was indeed inappropriate and asked CEO Min to issue a warning to A. Despite that, CEO MIn refused to take intense action against A’s wrongdoing and actively defended A by dismissing A’s allegation and making abusive remarks toward B.

In fact, A, the perpetrator in the sexual harassment case, is the same person as the director who was suspected of planning to take over the management rights of ADOR together with CEO Min in the dispute between the female CEO and HYBE.

A, who used to be an accountant, is the person who proposed to CEO Min the plan involving the exercise of a put option to receive 10 billion won, then making ADOR an empty shell and selling it to HYBE through a lawsuit for the infringement of NewJeans’s rights. CEO Min responded to the plan enthusiastically.

As such, people raised speculations that the reason CEO Min tried to cover up A’s sexual harassment incident was to hide their plan to take over ADOR. If A, who was the mastermind behind the ADOR takeover plan, lost his leadership due to the sexual harassment incident, it would affect CEO Min significantly.

In particular, B said, “CEO Min shared details of my report with A in real time and reviewed A’s opinions. She aligned with A, the perpetrator”, adding “CEO Min tried to gather all kinds of evidence to make it look like I filed a retaliatory report because of my incompetence at work. She insulted and humiliated me with all kinds of abusive remarks, but encouraged perpetrator A to appoint a lawyer and file a lawsuit against me for making false accusations”.
