Olympic Athlete Gains Attention for Resemblance to TWICE’s Nayeon

Nayeon, known not only for her vocal talent but also for her adorable yet sexy visuals, is easily recognizable even to those who are not dedicated K-pop fans. So when an athlete competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics was noticed for her striking resemblance to the idol, it quickly became a hot topic.

On August 3rd, a video featuring German-Brazilian volleyball player Júlia Bergmann was shared on social media. The video showcased Bergmann both in action on the volleyball court and speaking.

At first glance, the resemblance between Bergmann and Nayeon might not be immediately obvious, but once Bergmann appears wearing glasses, the likeness becomes undeniable! TWICE’s fans were quick to comment on the similarities, with many expressing their surprise at how much the two resemble each other.

Júlia Bergmann, born in Germany and later moving to Brazil in the fourth grade, is fluent in German, Portuguese and English. She has been a member of Brazil’s national women’s volleyball team since 2019 and is currently on the roster for the country’s Olympic team.

Bergmann shares a “strange” similarity to Nayeon, especially when the TWICE member’s hair is a similar ginger hue.

While the resemblance is more apparent from certain angles, it is clear that both women are stunning in their own unique ways.
