The publication begins its list of “Top Artists Who Have Conquered Both Pop Music and Fashion” with V, selecting him as the first feature.

It states, “V is a natural model and ambassador for two luxury brands, bringing aesthetic delight to each.”

The article further describes how “fans are always eager to see V’s photos, and they find themselves compelled to purchase new products after watching his brand campaign videos for Celine and Cartier. Every fashion show that V attends automatically becomes a major event“.

Luxury brands have witnessed the impact of choosing V as an ambassador, not only for his artistry but also for his strong visual presence and widespread influence as a K-pop representative.

During V’s first official event as Celine’s ambassador at Paris Fashion Week, the French weekly magazine Paris Match called him the “megastar of the Celine show at Paris Fashion Week”. Following V’s ambassadorship, Celine experienced a 51% growth rate.

The French influencer marketing platform Lefty analyzed that V’s Instagram post featuring Celine generated a value of $274 million. Lefty also ranked V as the number one male celebrity in their “2023 Top Fashion Influencers” list.

Cartier has also felt the strong impact of the “V effect”. After announcing V as their ambassador, Cartier’s official website experienced a surge in traffic, causing it to crash. Additionally, the necklace V wore for the Panthère campaign, priced at $26,700, sold out.

According to Richemont, Cartier’s parent company, their jewelry division recorded its highest-ever revenue of €14.2 billion during the last fiscal year (April 1st, 2023 – March 31st, 2024), following V’s appointment as ambassador.
