In “Revolver”, Lim Ji-yeon plays the role of Jung Yoon-sun, a nightclub madam who is the first person Soo-young meets after her release from prison. With her characteristic light smile, Lim Ji-yeon vividly portrays Yoon-sun’s mysterious charm, leaving viewers unsure if she is a helper or a betrayer. The partnership between the seemingly contrasting Soo-young and Yoon-sun has been praised for creating a compelling “womance” chemistry.

At the VIP preview of “Revolver”, held on July 31st, actress Song Hye-kyo, who bonded with Lim Ji-yeon through Netflix’s series “The Glory”, attended and showed her strong support, drawing attention.

Lim Ji-yeon expressed her gratitude, “As we were doing the stage greeting before the preview ended, Hye-kyo unnie wrote me a handwritten letter, worried that she might not get to see me. She gave me the letter along with flowers. I was so touched. After the preview’s after-party, I read the letter while I was still drunk, and I got so emotional that I teared up.”

She added, “I remember everything in the letter. It said, ‘Ji-yeon, I might not be able to see you, so I’m leaving you this letter. Thank you for inviting me, and the always shining Ji-yeon will shine just as brightly on the screen.’ In the end, I did see her. I waited for her until the movie ended. Not only Hye-kyo unnie but also other ‘The Glory’ family members came. We all greeted each other and took pictures together. Thankfully, they all said they enjoyed the movie.”

Meanwhile, “Revolver” will be released on August 7th.
