aespa Completed Concert In Osaka Safely Without Karina
Despite the absence of Karina, aespa managed to wrap up their concert in Osaka, Japan with only three members
On the evening of July 28th, aespa held the second day of “2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK: PARALLEL LINE” at Asue Arena in Osaka, Japan.
After the concert, the official account of aespa posted photos of the members, Winter, Giselle, and NingNing, with MYs (aespa’s fandom) and backup dancers. One of the dancers even showed a supportive message for Karina on their smartphone.
Right before the concert started, SM announced that Karina couldn’t participate in the show due to poor health conditions. SM said, “Following the doctor’s diagnosis after the rehearsal, Karina will inevitably not be able to participate in the concert today due to health reasons”. In fact, Karina has shown signs of exhaustion in the previous concert on the 27th.
The company also announced that aespa would continue the second day of the Osaka concert with three members, Winter, Giselle, and NingNing.
At the concert, Giselle said, “It’s so sad that Karina couldn’t join us in the concert due to health reasons”, adding “Please show a lot of support for Karina”. Ever since the concert started, fans have been sending supportive messages to Karina on the Internet using the hashtag #Look At This Yoo Ji-min (Karina’s real name).
Meanwhile, aespa’s world tour began with the Seoul show on June 29th. The girl group will continue the tour in Fukuoka on the 30th and 31st of July.
