(G)I-DLE's Soyeon expressed her gratitude for her time as an idol

On July 16th, Soyeon appeared on the web variety show “Mimiminu” channel, where she and the creator Mimiminu introduced the job of being an idol.

While working out, Soyeon explained that she often exercises three times a day to maintain her fitness. Later, in the car on the way to her company, she revealed her actual diet by pulling out a lunch box and saying, “In the morning, I eat an apple with peanut butter. It’s good for digestion.”

Upon arriving at the company practice room, Soyeon and Mimiminu learned the choreography for (G)I-DLE’s new song “Klaxon”. Regarding the so-called “Shin-chan dance”, Soyeon shared its origin, “The hook part is very important, so we received ten choreographies. There was a suggestion that it should feel like the ocean, Hawaii, and the choreographer created it to look like Shin-chan.

After spending a day together, Soyeon, who has been dreaming of becoming a singer since she was born, confessed, “I always felt like I was going to be a singer, and I wanted to be one.” She added, “It’s hard to have even one friend as an adult, but I have four friends. Having five people with the same heart and dreams makes me feel very grateful to be an idol.

Soyeon also encouraged those who dream of becoming idols, “I am very thankful to those who admire my job and want to become idols themselves, and I want to cheer them all on.”

Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE released their 7th mini album “I SWAY” on July 8th and continues to promote with the song “Klaxon”.
