On July 11th, a video titled “Fantastic Chemistry of Members Who Have Been Together for 14 Years… (Feat. Running Man)” was uploaded on the online channel “Kim Jong Kook Gym Jong Kook”.
The video featured members of SBS’s variety show “Running Man” (Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Jong Kook, Ji Suk Jin, Haha, Song Ji Hyo, Yang Se Chan, etc.) gathering for a fan meeting in Manila, Philippines to celebrate the show’s 14th anniversary.
The members showcased their enduring chemistry during the fan meeting rehearsal.
Song Ji Hyo performed Lee Hyori’s “Beach Again”, displaying her cute dance and singing skills. Ji Suk Jin joked about her singing, “If I keep listening to Ji Hyo’s song, it feels like a ghost will appear.”
When Ji Suk Jin’s ballad solo rehearsal began, the members pretended to fall asleep, highlighting their fantastic camaraderie developed over 14 years. After Ji Suk Jin’s rehearsal ended, Haha and Yang Se Chan jokingly said, “What day is it today?” and “Two days have passed.”
The main concert began, filling the venue with local fans. The members showcased various performances, from solo stages to duets and group performances, providing fans with an enjoyable experience. Kim Jong Kook’s hit song “Loveable” had local fans singing along in Korean, demonstrating Running Man’s global popularity.
The “Running Man” fan meeting is set to be held in various regions, including Jakarta (Indonesia), Singapore and Macau, allowing the members to meet their international fans.
Meanwhile, “Running Man” has been a beloved weekend variety show in South Korea since its premiere in July 2010, maintaining steady popularity for 14 years.
