At 2 p.m. on this day, Yoo Ah-in showed up at the court wearing a black long-sleeved suit despite the hot weather. He entered the court without giving any statement.
At this 6th trial, Yoo Ah-in’s psychiatric treatment doctor who was absent from the 5th trial appeared as a witness to be questioned.
Meanwhile, Yoo Ah-in is accused of administering propofol 181 times from September 2020 to March last year and receiving illegal prescriptions of 1100 sleeping pills in the name of someone else 44 times from May 2021 to August last year.
In addition, the actor is also suspected of smoking marijuana in the US with four accomplices, including a friend Choi, and instructed a person who witnessed their drug use to smoke marijuana.
Prosecutors believe that Yoo Ah-in had administered more than 7 types of drugs, but the actor denied most of the drug use allegations, except for smoking marijuana and using propofol. He stated, “Some parts have been exaggerated and different from the truth”.
At the 5th trial last month, Doctor Oh, who prescribed medical drugs to Yoo Ah-in, was questioned. At that time, the doctor stated that he prescribed based on Yoo Ah-in’s anxiety symptoms and his intention to die.
