Macoll Consulting Group, which is in charge of the media for Min Hee-jin‘s legal representative Sejong Law Firm, announced that CEO Min would explain her stance on the shareholders’ meeting at today’s press conference.
The press conference will be held from 2:30 PM to 3:20 PM, with a brief photo session scheduled from 2:20 PM to 2:23 PM.
According to the music industry, ADOR held an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting this morning at an undisclosed location in Seoul, where they appointed Kim Joo-young (CHRO), Lee Jae-sang (CSO) and Lee Kyung-joon (CFO), recommended by HYBE, as new internal directors.
Existing ADOR internal directors Shin and Kim, known to be close associates of CEO Min, were dismissed.
HYBE initially planned to remove CEO Min Hee-jin at this extraordinary shareholders’ meeting. However, on May 30th, the Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Division 50 (Chief Judge Kim Sang-hoon) accepted CEO Min’s request for an injunction against HYBE’s exercise of voting rights, allowing her to retain her position.
Previously, on April 22nd, HYBE launched an audit of ADOR’s management, accusing them of attempting to seize control and filed charges of breach of duty against CEO Min and others.
CEO Min countered these allegations, stating, “This is not true.” She argued that HYBE’s actions were retaliatory for her raising issues about Belift Lab’s girl group ILLIT copying NewJeans’ concept.
CEO Min’s first emergency press conference, where she criticized HYBE with strong language, attracted significant attention.
Now, with the announcement of a second press conference, there is keen interest in what position CEO Min will take this time.
