NewJeans’ Parents Call HYBE “Despicable”, Source Music Story “Fake”
Various text messages between the parents of NewJeans members and Min Hee-jin were revealed at a recent press conference.
On April 25, Min Hee-jin – the CEO of NewJeans’ agency ADOR, held a press conference to address the various controversies related to ADOR and HYBE’s ongoing feud.
Here, Min Hee-jin unveiled text messages she received from the parents of NewJeans members, most of which siding with Min Hee-jin and renouncing HYBE.
In particular, regarding previous claims that NewJeans members were mostly under Source Music before moving to ADOR with Min Hee-jin, the parents had a completely different perspective, sending messages such as, “The information that the CEO (Min Hee-jin) took my kid away from Source Music is a complete life”.
According to NewJeans’ parents, HYBE was basically making up a story about Min Hee-jin taking trainees away from Source Music and leaving the other company in debt and leaking such information to the media to paint ADOR and NewJeans in a bad light.
Below are some text messages sent by the parents of NewJeans members:
- Their claims make fans of LE SSERAFIM have a bad impression of NewJeans
- Are they saying that you take trainees from Source Music and form a new agency despite Source Music having paid for the training fees? They are obvious trying to make it sounds like Source Music suffered
- This information… It started not from a prestigious news site but from other means… It’s likely that HYBE intentionally spread it around. Perhaps we should talk more about how NewJeans was formed
- They made up a blatant lie about the CEO stealing trainees from Source Music, putting Source Music in debt, to the point of disbanding Gfriend…
- Wow, they (HYBE) are truly despicable
