The final trial for A, a man in his 60s who was charged with violating the Stalking Prevention Act and the Information and Communication Network Act (defamation), took place at the Jinju Branch of the Changwon District Court on March 5th.

Last October, the fact that Oh Yu-jin was a victim of stalking was revealed through an exclusive report by Xsports News. At that time, Oh Yu-jin’s maternal grandmother, referred to as Mrs. Yoo, directly met with Xsports News and complained about the stalking and defamation Oh Yu-jin suffered from A for several months.

A was accused of stalking Oh Yu-jin, claiming she was his daughter from May to November last year, and even going to her school. He was also accused of posting false information related to her biological father online, leading to charges of defamation. He was indicted without detention.

During the final trial this time, the prosecution requested a one-year prison sentence and an order to attend a program, considering the young age of the victim and the psychological distress suffered by the victim and her family.
