“SKY Castle” Star Kim Bo-ra Is Marrying Director Jo Bareun This June
Actress Kim Bo-ra is getting married to director Jo Bareun of her movie “The Night Shift” in June
On March 5th, JTBC Entertainment News issued an exclusive report by citing the word of an insider, saying “Kim Bo-ra will tie the knot with director Jo Bareun, whom she got to know through a movie project”.
The two worked together for the first time through the movie “The Night Shift: The Original” released in 2021. After that, they developed into lovers and their romance finally achieved the fruitful result of a marriage.
Kim Bo-ra made her debut in 2005. She started as a child actress in the drama “Wedding” and accumulated acting skills gradually by playing student roles in various projects. In 2018, she starred in JTBC’s drama “SKY Castle” as Kim Hye-na and received huge love from the public. She recently acted in “Her Private Life”, “Touch”, “Like Flowers in Sand”, etc.
Director Jo Bareun graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London majoring in Film Studies. In 2017, he won Korean Fantastic Short Film Award with “Vibration” at the 21st Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival. Since then, he has directed several movies such as “Gang”, “Slate” and “The Night Shift: The Original”.
