Recently, a post on Weibo created a stir among Chinese netizens as it openly offered the chance to attend Kris Wu’s trial for 8000 CNY (1240 USD). Accordingly, the buyer will get a front row seat and be personally taken inside the courtroom by a lawyer.
However, a well-known lawyer immediately pointed out that in most trials, attendees only need to present their identification, and they do not require a personal escort.
Kris Wu’s trial is kept confidential and not made public, so outsiders are not allowed to attend. Therefore, this is likely a scam.
