On January 19th, an interview video of Cha Joo Young was uploaded to the YouTube channel Allure Korea. In the video, Cha Joo Young said, “(Choi Hye Jeong) is a person who tries hard to follow her well-off friends. I was really involved in the role from start to finish. I paid attention to different costumes and hairstyles for each situation. I wanted to show a lighter side of myself. In the scenes where she is a stewardess, I wanted to look neat and light,” explaining her character Choi Hye Jeong in “The Glory.”

She also revealed the secret of managing her body, saying, “At the time of filming, I came out with a little weight on. The character herself underwent breast surgery. I didn’t manage my body separately during filming. I just maintained (how I looked.)”

Regarding the one-piece dress worn by Choi Hye Jeong in the drama, Cha Joo Young said, “Originally, there was a Chanel costume prepared separately by the styling team. They prepared a short, less revealing, cute tweed dress, but the director wanted me to wear the dress in the drama. I told him no because I thought it would look ugly on the screen, but I still filmed the scene (while wearing it). I didn’t know it would become a hot topic,” sharing a behind-the-scenes story of the filming.

Meanwhile, Cha Joo Young is co-starring with Baek Jin Hee and Ahn Jae Hyun in KBS2’s weekend drama “The Real Deal Has Come!” scheduled to air in March.
