Bang Si Hyuk, “Thanks to BTS, HYBE has come this far. Without ARMYs, we wouldn’t have been able to make a step”
Chairman Bang Si Hyuk mentioned boy group BTS as the driving force behind HYBE’s growth.
On November 10th, HYBE broadcast “2022 HYBE BRIEFING WITH THE COMMUNITY” on their Youtube channel “HYBE LABELS”.
The video of the company’s briefing session contains information on how their label, artists, and various subsidiary independent businesses, which have been using the multi-label strategy under an organic cooperation system, innovate the music industry.
HYBE’s briefing session began with questions about the factors that serve as the focal point and driving force in HYBE’s breathtaking innovation and business expansion process. Held under the theme of “coevolution”, the company briefing session featured various main figures forming the HYBE community and introduced HYBE’s direction through the process of giving answers to the questions given to each of them.
The video then showed members of HYBE’s major business sectors, including labels, solutions and platforms, as well as HYBE Labels artists, Chairman Bang Si Hyuk, CEO Park Ji Won, and other executives.
In order to find answers to the question “Why HYBE?”, they expressed intense worries. In addition, as the advancement of the multi-label strategy was decided to be a medium- and long-term engine, members of HYBE Labels showed up and shared their inner thoughts as well as hidden stories with the HYBE community.
Chairman Bang Si Hyuk defined, “That’s the DNA of HYBE, a company that is not afraid of taking new attempts”.
He continued, “For fans who are waiting for the new music and new appearances of our artists, the content we produce should be the best”. Chairman Bang Si Hyuk also emphasized that this is the rule that everyone in the HYBE community agrees on and respects.
Bang Si Hyuk also delivered a message containing his gratitude for BTS and their fans as well as his willingness to continue the strong bond right ARMYs.
He said, “BTS is our starting point and the driving force that allowed us to come this far”, delivering a thank-you message. He added, “Without ARMYs, we wouldn’t have been able to make a step”, expressing his gratitude to fans for being the communicators, promoters, marketers, and guides to prevent HYBE from moving in the wrong direction.
CEO Park Ji Won appeared at the end of the video and outlined the activity plans for HYBE Labels artists, including &TEAM, TXT, SEVENTEEN, fromis_9, NewJeans, and LE SSERAFIM. He also informed fans of the results of various projects that have been carried out together with the artists’ activities.
CEO Park Ji Won shared, “HYBE has been receiving a lot of questions and assignments to deal with”, adding “Rather, we want to continue to evolve with the weight of such responsibilities as our driving force”.
CEO Park Ji Won concluded the company briefing by saying “Evolving with various main figures who form the HYBE Community is not an easy task”, adding “Nevertheless, HYBE will evolve together with everyone in this community”.
