The fact that rapper Simon Dominic (Simon D) used to be a member of a group is drawing attention from netizens.
On Oct 16th, a post titled “Did you know that Simon Dominic was in a group?” was posted on the online community Instiz, drawing attention. The author of the post said, “It just popped up on my algorithm that Simon D used to promote in a group called Supreme. I can’t imagine that at all,” they wrote. More than 400 comments were posted on the post, drawing attention.
This article immediately spread to various online communities such as theqoo, FM Korea, and Dog Drip, receiving a hot response. The post received more than 700 comments on theqoo, too.
Among netizens, most were surprising reactions such as “The generation that doesn’t know this has come,” “It’s even more shocking that there are people who don’t know this,” “You don’t know Supreme Team?” “So they don’t know this,” and “It’s Supreme Team, not Supreme.”
However, some netizens responded, “I was born in 2000, but today is the first time I heard about this,” “I knew just now,” “I knew Supreme Team’s song, but I didn’t know that Simon Dominic was on that team,” and “First time hearing about this.”
Meanwhile, Simon Dominic made his debut with Amoeba Culture in 2009 as a part of Supreme Team in 2007 with rapper E SENS. In 2013, the two virtually disbanded and continued their separate moves.
