7th Jung-sook on “I Am SOLO” firmly responded to malicious commenters and announced her plan to take legal action
The 7th Jung-sook on “I Am SOLO” is suffering serious malicious comments and rumors.
On September 3rd, the 7th Jung-sook (which is an assumed name on “I Am SOLO” as the cast join without using their real names) uploaded several photos on her Instagram Story together with the caption “I’m bored. How many questions should I answer?”.
The released photos drew attention as they contain online community posts with malicious comments and rude words directed at Jung-sook. They attacked her with comments, such as “Jung-sook, can’t you have a baby?”, “The 7th Jung-sook will live alone, right?”, “Looks like you’ve undergone plastic surgery many times”, “I can tell that you had your eyes, nose and lips fixed just by looking at your face”, etc. Jung-sook said, “Why do you think of me in that way?”, “Am I that pretty?”, responding to the malicious comments one by one.
Revealing their annual salary was 130 million at the age of 33, one netizen gave an evaluation, saying Jung-sook was the style of a person who is emotional and easily feels tired. In response, Jung-sook said, “130 million won a year? How dare you to judge me with that salary. Whether I act emotionally or easily get bored or not, I will never like a person like you”, adding “At the age of 33, I hope you reflect on yourself and stop judging people”.
As criticism over her appearance on the show continued, Jung-sook said, “Yes, that’s right, I’m quite picky. I’m looking for a lifetime partner, since I’m not around 20~30 anymore. I don’t have time to meet someone and break up easily. I guess you’re someone who likes meeting all kinds of people?”, adding “I hate people like you even more”.
Jung-sook, who is working as a voice actress, said, “I’m a public figure. I’m a little different from other regular cast members. No matter what kind of malicious comments I see, I don’t get hurt at all”, adding “I think cyber investigation in Korea is very good. Shall we meet face to face?”, signaling her decision to take legal action.
This is not the first time Jung-sook expressed her feelings due to malicious comments. Netizens are raising concerns about the intensifying situation surrounding Jung-sook.
Meanwhile, Jung-sook was the 7th member of ENA Play – SBS Plus’s entertainment program “I Am SOLO”. At that time, she formed the final couple with Kyung-soo but the two reportedly broke up after the broadcast.
