On March 25th, Jennie congratulated the birthday of her best friend Cha-hee by posting some photos on her Instagram Story. She released several friendship photos taken with Cha-hee along with messages, such as “Happy birthday dear my bestfriend. Love you”, “I’m posting this a day late, but still, happy birthday, my tteok (rice cake)”, “We look so cute in these photos, so I will secretly post them here”.
The released photo showed the two’s close friendship as they were looking at each other with bright smiles. In particular, Jennie and Cha-hee caught the eyes of netizens with their lovely visuals that resemble each other so much.
Jennie’s close friend Cha-hee is a former girl group member. She debuted in the entertainment industry in 2014 as a member of a 4-member girl group Melody Day. However, Melody Day announced its disbandment in December 2018.
Cha-hee appeared on tvN’s show “Studio Vibes” in 2019 and made her name and face be widely known to the public. “Studio Vibes” is a reality dating program in which 10 young male and female musicians communicate through music and develop love.
