NMIXX’s Lily set the record by hitting the highest belt note in a debut song of a 4th generation group
NMIXX’s Lily stuns fans with her incredible vocals.
Despite receiving great expectations from the public, NMIXX‘s debut has been gaining mixed reactions, from the debut song’s quality, getting involved in plagiarism controversy to underwhelming digital performance. However, there are still things about NMIXX’s debut that impress fans, and vocals are one of them.
In terms of vocal techniques, NMIXX’s “O.O” is not an easy song to sing, as there are plenty of high notes throughout. In particular, the most impressive one is an A5 note hit by Lily M. This is the highest belt note a 4th generation idol group member has ever hit in a debut song.
Lily was first introduced to the public through the singing show Kpop Star 4, and finished in 4th place when she was only 12 years old. So it comes as no surprise that Lily has excellent vocals.
Lily’s A5 note in “O.O” has also surpassed NingNing‘s G5 note in aespa’s Savage. With Lily’s skills, she promises to join NingNing in the list of the strongest main vocalists among 4th generation idols.
