Kim Yoo-jung, who used to be a child actor, tearfully confessed when receiving Top Excellence Award at 2021 SBS Drama Awards
Actress Kim Yoo-jung won Top Excellence Award at this year’s SBS Drama Awards.
The 2021 SBS Drama Awards was hosted by Shin Dong-yeop and Kim Yoo-jung on the evening of December 31st.
On this day, the Top Excellence Award in Fantasy genre category was awarded to “Taxi Driver” Lee Je-hoon and “Lovers of the Red Sky” Kim Yoo-jung.
Kim Yoo-jung said, “The filming site can be a happy and enjoyable place for someone, but to someone else, this can be a place that is scary, painful, and hard space. I have accumulated a lot of great experience while acting since I was young, and there were so many tired and sad moments. However, those moments gave me lessons and helped me learn to endure whenever I am shaken and about to collapse.”
She shed tears while saying, “That happened the same when I filmed ‘Lovers of the Red Sky’. Numerous people, including the director, screenwriter, staff, and other actors, listened to my voice. That made me feel so strange. Though I was scared and couldn’t adapt to it, I’m still grateful for that. I was afraid that many people listened to my suggestions.”
