98-Liner Ex-The Ark Member Lee Suji Mourns ASTRO’s Moonbin, Promises to Meet Again

Actress Lee Suji, a former member of the girl group The Ark, who is part of the 98-Line friend group, mourns the late Moonbin.

On April 24th, Lee Suji posted a photo taken with ASTRO’s Moonbin on her Instagram and wrote a long message to mourn her friend, whom she built a special friendship with as part of the 98-Line friend group

The photo includes Lee Suji and Moonbin, as well as former IMFACT member Ung Jae, SEVENTEEN’s Boo Seungkwan, VIVIZ’s Umji and SinB, all with bright smiles on their faces. In particular, Moonbin’s bright smile stands out.

The friend group in the photo consists of six idols born in 1998 who have built a close friendship, even appearing together on Naver Now’s “AvenGirls”.

Lee Suji said, “I have so much to say. I always wanted to say more, but I wish I had been more courageous. Thank you for being with us during the most beautiful years of your life.”

She added, “As you said, you were truly the coolest person in the world. That’s true. It was an honor to meet someone like you.

Lee Suji continued, “If our songs that you loved even a little bit can comfort you, that’s really fortunate. You became a light for me and many people who loved you. Thank you.”

Finally, she promised, “We’ll be family for your family who loves you so much. Bin-ah, I love you so much. Thank you and miss you. Let’s meet again. Thank you for being our friend.

Moonbin passed away on April 19th, and a private funeral was held on April 22nd. Korean and international fans continue to mourn his sudden passing.
