“7 Escape” drops still cuts of Uhm Ki Joon showing a shocking appearance in blonde hair

On August 28th, SBS’s new Fri-Sat drama “7 Escape” (written by Kim Soon Ok/ directed by Joo Dong Min) released still cuts of Uhm Ki Joon as Matthew Lee, a revenge planner who hides himself behind a veil.

“7 Escape” is a revenge drama about the struggles of 7 people facing lies and desires as they get involved in the case of a missing girl and search for the truth in a bloody revenge. “Hitmaker” writer Kim Soon Ok and director Joo Dong Min, who created successful dramas such as “The Last Empress” and “Penthouse” series, will work together again for “7 Escape”.

Uhm Ki Joon

In this drama, Uhm Ki Joon plays Matthew Lee, CEO of the nation’s largest mobile platform company Tikitaka. The released still cuts show Matthew Lee with a confident gaze and extraordinary charisma. Uhm Ki Joon

Anticipation is higher for the collaboration of writer Kim Soon Ok, director Joo Dong Min, and Uhm Ki Joon in this new work following the syndrome-level popular “Penthouse” series. In particular, drama fans are looking forward to seeing Uhm Ki Joon replacing the image of villain Joo Dan Tae in “Penthouse” with a more intense transformation into a person who fights evil. Explaining the reason he selected “7 Escape” as his comeback project, Uhm Ki Joon shared, “It was great to have a chance to work with writer Kim Soon Ok and director Joo Dong Min again.
