Malaysian singer Xu Jialing was murdered by a stalker
On December 18, various media outlets reported that singer Xu Jialing was stabbed to death by a male fan and passed away at 26.
According to reports, Xu passed away of excessive bleeding after being stabbed eight times in major body parts such as chest, back and heart. The 44-year-old man, who has been identified as the suspect, is said to be a stalker who chased Xu for the past two years.
On the day of her death, Xu promised to eat with the suspect who had repeatedly demanded to meet him, and when arguments began after the meal, the suspect assaulted her. Afterwards, the suspect wielded a weapon to murder the singer. He tried to end his life as well and is currently being treated at a hospital.
After receiving a report from a witness, the police found Xu Jialing’s body in the suspect’s car. At the time of arrest, the suspect reportedly claimed to be her boyfriend.
Meanwhile, Xu Jialing is known to have been planning to get married the following year, making netizens even more heartbroken. Xu started dating her boyfriend in March and recently announced her wedding news. The two even took wedding photos.
On the 19th, Liu Yang (23 years old) sent his condolences to his late girlfriend through his social network account. “I was lucky that you came to my life and touched my heart. I cry just thinking about our happy moments,” he said. “My world is collapsing little by little. I miss you. Don’t leave.”
Internet users are leaving words of consolation to Liu Yang, leaving comments such as “Rest in peace,” “I can guess how you feel,” and “I hope you have a happy family with your girlfriend in your next life.”
