This year’s SBS Gayo Daejeon features all K-pop singers who have made remarkable achievements this year and hold a spectacular festival on Christmas Eve.

# With ‘THE LIVE; SHOUT OUT’ theme, it’s a real live show
This year’s Gayo Daejeon will center around two keywords, “THE LIVE”, which means a real live concert created together with global K-pop fans, and “SHOUT OUT”, which expresses support for artists and gratitude for fans who have consistently loved K-pop even in the past 2 pandemic year.
2022 SBS Gayo Daejeon is determined to present vivid joy to the audience at the scene and give a lively impression of a live show to viewers in front of the screen.
# 2022 Pop Culture Wrap – A music festival that tells a story
The event will be divided into K-Drama & Movie, K-Sports, and K-POP, which have been in the spotlights throughout this year, to prepare special stages reflecting on the Pop Culture in 2022. As part of that, figure skating prince Cha Jun Hwan will appear in K-Sports and present a cool stage. In the K-Drama & Movie section, 10cm is raising expectations for his performance of OSTs from 2022 dramas that made hot topics around the world. Lastly, K-POP will recall popular challenges through the special stages of 4 boy groups The Boyz, Ateez, TXT, and Cravity as well as fourth-generation girl groups IVE, NMIXX, LE SSERAFIM and NewJeans.
#The biggest K-pop festival during the Christmas season
As Gayo Daejeon is held on Christmas every year, it has become the largest and most awaited Christmas festival enjoyed by K-pop artists and fans. This year, there are Christmas stages of Stray Kids and NCT DREAM, as well as a duet by aespa Ning Ning and NCT 127 Do Young. In addition, Jaurim will release a new Christmas song performance for the first time.

NCT 127, NCT DREAM, The Boyz, fromis_9, Stray Kids, (G)I-DLE, Ateez, ITZY, TXT, Cravity, aespa, Enhypen, IVE, NMIXX, Tempest, LE SSERAFIM, and NewJeans were named in the lineup for the 2022 SBS Gayo Daejeon. Younha, who climbed backward on music charts and achieved huge success, Jaurim and 10cm will showcase a special collaboration stage as special singers.
Hosted by SHINee Key, ASTRO Cha Eun Woo, and IVE Ahn Yu Jin, 2022 SBS Gayo Daejeon will be broadcasted live at Gocheok Sky Dome at 7:30 p.m. on December 24th.
